Last updated: 30 April 2026

Detailed below are the Terms and Conditions which apply to all transactions on the LittleLAB website and in our retail store. Placing an order or booking confirms your acceptance of these terms, so please read them carefully.

1. ABOUT US

LittleLAB Limited is a company registered in England and Wales under registration number 08131945. Our registered address is 20 Broad Street, Bath, BA1 5LN.

You can contact us at: info@littlelab.co.uk

2. PRICING

All pricing shown on this website is subject to availability. All product prices are shown in UK Pound Sterling, inclusive of VAT and exclusive of delivery charges.

3. PROMOTION CODES

Only one promotion code or gift voucher code, regardless of its origin, may be redeemed against any one order. Promotions do not apply to sale items. LittleLAB reserves the right to withdraw discount codes at any time without notice.

4. AVAILABILITY

All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If your order cannot be completed due to a stock availability issue, you will be given a full refund for the out-of-stock product(s). LittleLAB will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for any disappointment suffered as a result.

5. AUTHENTICITY

We only advertise and sell products that are 100% genuine.

6. IMAGES

All images on this website are for illustration purposes only and may differ from the actual product. From time to time, colours may vary due to photographic or graphic constraints and processes.

7. PRODUCT DETAILS

All products advertised on the LittleLAB website are new and unused. Where items are unboxed, we make every effort to clearly indicate whether they are sealed, unsealed, or otherwise. However, where no mention is made, items should be assumed to be unsealed. Outer packaging may occasionally be scratched. Tester products are not supplied free of charge. Please read all item descriptions carefully before purchasing.

8. ORDER PAYMENT

Payment online can be made by Credit or Debit Card via Shopify Payments, or via PayPal. We are not party to any details of your credit or debit card. Payment is verified by PayPal or Shopify prior to the order being submitted to us. Cleared payment must be received by LittleLAB before any order is dispatched. We do not accept payment by cheque or postal order. Our checkout is powered by Shopify.

9. ORDER CONFIRMATION

Please check all details of your order and delivery address carefully before submitting. LittleLAB will not be liable for losses arising from an incorrect delivery address being entered. Upon placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email containing your order number. Please keep this safe in case you need to contact us with any queries. We reserve the right to decline any order. All orders are accepted subject to these Terms and Conditions.

If you have any special delivery requirements, please specify these at the time of ordering. We cannot be liable for any losses due to false or incorrect information provided by the customer.

10. RETURNS & REFUNDS (ONLINE STORE)

We hope you will be completely delighted with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we are happy to offer a refund, exchange or replacement provided:

  • You return the item within 28 calendar days of receipt
  • The item is unopened, unused and in its original condition

We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if items are not in a saleable condition.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your online order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. To exercise this right, please contact us at admin@littlelab.co.uk. Items must be returned in their original condition at your own cost unless the item is faulty.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

11. RETAIL STORE TERMS

Please note our retail store terms differ from our online store terms.

Cancellations: We operate a strict 24-hour cancellation policy for all treatments and appointments.

Age Restriction: Our in-store insurance covers clients aged 16 and over only. We are unable to provide treatments to those under 16.

Pets: Furry friends are welcome in the nail bar area but not in the pedicure area. Please let us know in advance so we can check that other clients are happy.

Refunds: We do not provide refunds for in-store purchases. Exchanges are accepted only where a product is unfit for purpose or faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Gift Vouchers: Store gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

Makeup Services & Workshops (In-Store): We do not provide refunds for any makeup services or workshops booked in store.

12. MAKEUP WORKSHOPS

12.1 Booking & Payment

Workshop prices vary depending on the specific workshop and will be clearly displayed on the relevant workshop page on our website at the time of booking. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. A booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.

12.2 Cancellations by You

If you wish to cancel your workshop booking, the following policy applies:

  • 14 or more days before the workshop date: You are entitled to a full refund.
  • Less than 14 days before the workshop date: No refund will be issued.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing to info@littlelab.co.uk.

12.3 Transfers

You may transfer your booking to an alternative workshop date, subject to availability, provided you give us at least 14 days' written notice before the original workshop date. Transfers are permitted once only. No transfer can be requested within 14 days of the workshop date. Failure to attend the transferred workshop will result in the loss of your full payment.

12.4 Cancellation by LittleLAB

LittleLAB reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop where minimum participant numbers are not met, or in circumstances outside our reasonable control. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

12.5 Non-Attendance

Failure to attend, late arrival, or missed sessions does not qualify for a refund or replacement session.

12.6 Conduct

Participants are expected to behave respectfully and follow all hygiene and safety guidance during sessions. LittleLAB reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive or unsafe. No refund will be issued in these circumstances.

13. PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP COURSE

13.1 Course Fee

Course fees vary depending on the specific course. The fee applicable to your chosen course will be clearly displayed on the relevant course page on our website at the time of booking.

Students may secure a place by:

  • Paying a deposit (amount specified at the time of booking)
  • Paying the full course fee upfront
  • Selecting an approved Klarna payment plan

A place is not confirmed until payment has been received or finance approval has been completed.

Where a deposit is paid, the remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the course start date. Failure to pay the balance by this date may result in the place being released and the deposit forfeited.

13.2 Early Bird Offer

Where an Early Bird discount is available, it will be clearly advertised on the relevant course page along with the applicable deadline and discounted fee.

The Early Bird offer:

  • Applies to full upfront payment only
  • Does not apply to deposit bookings
  • Does not apply to Klarna finance
  • Cannot be combined with any other promotion
  • Is available only until the stated deadline or until places are filled

13.3 Klarna Finance

Klarna finance is subject to status and eligibility. Klarna's own terms and conditions apply. Klarna Financial Services UK Limited acts as the credit provider. LittleLAB is not responsible for credit decisions, repayment schedules, or any charges applied by Klarna.

13.4 Cooling-Off Period (Online Bookings)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your booking within 14 days of making it and receive a full refund, unless:

  • The course begins within that 14-day period, and
  • You have agreed to waive your cancellation rights in order to begin the course immediately

After the 14-day cooling-off period has passed:

  • Deposits are non-refundable
  • Full payments are non-refundable
  • Klarna agreements remain subject to Klarna's own cancellation terms

13.5 Cancellations by You

All cancellation requests must be made in writing to admin@littlelab.co.uk. The following charges apply based on the notice given before the course start date:

Notice given Charge
More than 90 days Deposit only — the remaining balance will be refunded
31–90 days 50% of the full course fee
30 days or fewer 100% of the full course fee

These charges reflect the costs and commitments LittleLAB incurs in advance of each course, including tutor fees and venue bookings, and the reduced ability to fill a place at short notice on a limited-capacity course.

13.6 Transfers

One transfer to a future course date may be requested, provided written notice is given at least 90 days before the course start date. Transfers are:

  • Subject to availability
  • Permitted once only
  • Not available within 90 days of the course start date

Failure to attend the transferred course will result in the loss of all fees paid.

13.7 Non-Attendance

Failure to attend, late arrival, or missed sessions does not qualify for a refund, a replacement session, or additional training time.

13.8 Course Changes

LittleLAB reserves the right to make reasonable changes to course content, tutors, timings, products used, models, or training location where necessary to maintain the quality of the course.

13.9 Minimum Course Numbers

LittleLAB reserves the right to reschedule a course where minimum student numbers are not met. In such cases, an alternative date or a full refund will be offered.

13.10 Student Conduct

Students must attend all sessions in a professional manner and comply with all hygiene and safety procedures. LittleLAB reserves the right to remove a student from training for unsafe or inappropriate behaviour. No refund will be issued in these circumstances.

13.11 Certification

Certificates of completion are issued only once attendance requirements and tutor assessment criteria have been fully met.

13.12 Photography & Recording

Photographs and video content may be captured during training sessions for educational and marketing purposes. Students who do not wish to be photographed or filmed must notify LittleLAB in writing before the course start date.

13.13 Liability

LittleLAB accepts no responsibility for:

  • Travel or accommodation costs
  • Loss of earnings
  • Personal belongings
  • Any indirect or consequential losses arising from non-attendance or course changes

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

13.14 Force Majeure

LittleLAB is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, venue disruption, transport interruption, or government restrictions. Where possible, alternative training dates will be offered.

13.15 Acceptance of Terms

Payment of a deposit, full payment, or confirmation of a Klarna payment plan constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
